STOCKTON, Calif. – The City of Stockton wishes to thank the fans who showed up last Friday, October 23, 2026 to support our professional hockey team, the Stockton Thunder, as the game was postponed for issues with the ice. Safety for all that enter the Adventist Health Arena will remain a top priority, including the athletes that take the ice.
“We operate with a fan-first commitment, and we appreciate how quickly and professionally the City and Legends aligned with us to remedy the situation. Their diligence, responsiveness, and shared dedication to delivering a first-class experience reflect why this partnership remains strong and why Stockton is an exceptional home for Thunder hockey.” – Parker Moskal, Thunder Team Owner
The City, along with our Arena operator, Legends Global wish to assure the public that the ice issue has been resolved and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Arena tomorrow night, October 30, 2026 to support our Thunder team as they take the ice against the Baton Rouge Kingfish (puck drop @ 7:11 PM).
“While the postponement of last Friday’s game was a disappointment that could not be avoided, the partnership between the Team, Arena and City remains strong and focused on providing the Stockton community with hockey entertainment and meaningful fan experiences.” -Tina McCarty, City of Stockton
For those who attended last Friday’s game, we want to share that the City has reversed all parking charges. Game tickets may be refunded or exchanged for any other Thunder home game at the place of purchase, at the ticket holder’s option. Additionally, a ticket holder may choose to use the October 23rd ticket at the rescheduled game, with the date yet to be announced. Please check www.stocktonlive.com for updates regarding the rescheduled date for the postponed game.
The Thunder organization, along with the City and Arena operator, recognizes that without our fans, the game, the team, and the civic pride for hometown hockey are not possible. To that end, all ticket holders from the October 23rd game will receive a $15 concessions voucher to use at a future game as a sign of our commitment to the fans and continued entertainment experiences.
“We are grateful for the partnership we share with the Stockton Thunder and for their unwavering focus on the fan experience.” Jason Perry, Legends Global.
