Team Joins Top Flight Fitness Center

(Stockton, Ca.)--Hockey players are in peak physical condition, given the rigors of their sport. And there’s no doubt, the Stockton Thunder will be IN SHAPE. The team has announced a partnership with In-Shape Fitness centers. The Thunder will play its home opener at Adventist Health Arena on Saturday October 17. 

“This is a key partnership for us, helping keep our team in top condition,” Thunder President and General Manager Scott Brand said. “It’s more than just strength. It’s important to have great cardio and flexibility, and In-Shape Fitness is going to help our players maintain that at high levels. It’s also a great recruiting tool for our coach Zach Pochiro to have a first class facility for our player workouts.”

In-Shape Fitness has 63 clubs across 16 networks in California. That includes the North San Joaquin network with three locations in Stockton and one in Lodi. While the Thunder is thrilled to be teamed with In-Shape Fitness, the feeling is mutual according to In-Shape Fitness Chief Executive Officer Randy Karr.

“Team sports strengthen communities, and we are proud to partner with the Stockton Thunder and cheer them on alongside the many community members we serve in San Joaquin County, " Karr said.
