Thunder Add Forward
Chris Mott Joins Fold
(Stockton, CA) The Stockton Thunder has added forward Chris Mott to the roster, ahead of the team’s first home game.
The home opener is Saturday October 17th at Adventist Health Arena against the Oceanside Shock at 6:11 p.m. Single game tickets are now available at Adventist Health Arena’s box office. There is also free parking for the game, courtesy of the Downtown Stockton Alliance.
Fans will also receive a commemorative poker chip courtesy of Black Oak Casino Resort, as a souvenir of the historic evening.
Mott, 5-foot-11, 185 pounds is no stranger to the Federal Prospects Hockey League. He was a member of the Binghamton Black Bears which won the FPHL championship in 2024-25.
“We’re excited to welcome Chris to the Thunder. He brings offensive skill, a scoring touch and a competitive edge,” Thunder head coach Zach Pochiro said. “We’re looking forward to seeing him make an impact for us this season.
Mott split time last season among four teams in the FPHL and Southern Professional Hockey League. He is expected to be eligible for the Thunder on Saturday. Stockton also released goaltender Josh Rosenzweig.
All Thunder games can be heard on Sports Radio AM 970 and viewed free on the team’s You Tube channel, @stocktonhockey.
