STOCKTON THUNDER UNVEIL COMPLETE 2026–27 REGULAR-SEASON SCHEDULE

Thunder to play 28 home games at Adventist Health Arena during inaugural FPHL season

STOCKTON, Calif. — July 24, 2026 — The Stockton Thunder have officially unveiled their complete schedule for the 2026–27 Federal Prospects Hockey League season, setting the stage for the return of professional hockey to Adventist Health Arena.

Stockton’s inaugural FPHL schedule features 56 regular-season games, evenly divided between 28 home contests and 28 games on the road.

The Thunder will begin their season Sunday, October 11, on the road against Oceanside HC. Six days later, professional hockey will officially return to Stockton when the Thunder host Oceanside on Saturday, October 17, at Adventist Health Arena.

Stockton will play 20 of its 28 home games on Friday or Saturday, providing fans throughout the region with a schedule filled with weekend hockey.

The Thunder’s home schedule features 10 games against Oceanside, seven against the Fresno Falcons and six against the Topeka Scarecrows. Stockton will also welcome the Baton Rouge Zydeco, Indiana Sentinels and Minnesota Northern Lights to Adventist Health Arena during its inaugural season.

Among the highlights of the schedule is a 15-game season series against fellow Central Valley expansion club Fresno. The first matchup between the two teams will take place Friday, October 23, in Stockton, before the Thunder travel to Fresno the following night.

The Thunder and Falcons will meet seven times at Adventist Health Arena, including Stockton’s regular-season finale on Saturday, April 17.

Additional home schedule highlights include:

  • The historic home opener against Oceanside HC on Saturday, October 17
  • The first Central Valley matchup against the Fresno Falcons on Friday, October 23
  • A Halloween night matchup against the Baton Rouge Zydeco on Saturday, October 31
  • A Thanksgiving-week homestand featuring Minnesota and Oceanside
  • A three-game December homestand against the Topeka Scarecrows
  • Four consecutive home games against Fresno on January 15, 16, 22 and 23
  • A three-game March series against Topeka
  • The first visits from the Indiana Sentinels on April 2 and 3
  • The regular-season finale against Fresno on Saturday, April 17

Stockton will face Frontier Division opponents Oceanside, Fresno, Topeka and Minnesota throughout the season. The Thunder will play Oceanside 16 times, Fresno 15 times and Topeka 10 times as the league’s new western clubs establish regional rivalries during the inaugural campaign.

The Thunder’s road schedule will also include trips to Michigan, Mississippi, Minnesota, Connecticut and California.

Game times, single-game ticket information, promotional nights and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
